The NORDTECH Internship and Mentor Program, in partnership with Griffiss Institute, is providing students with hands-on experience in cutting-edge research and technology development, which is critical for finding success in the region and nation’s high-tech sector. As part of this program, interns work alongside leading experts, solving real-world challenges in defense, semiconductor, microelectronics, and emerging technologies. Simultaneously, NORDTECH’s partners who are able to offer mentorship to interns in key technology development areas can benefit from the work accomplished during this time—while gaining the opportunity to train future potential workers.

Please note: Application deadlines are fast approaching: Friday, April 18 is the deadline for member company intern hosts and Wednesday, April 30 is the deadline for student interns.

Member Organizations: An Opportunity for NORDTECH-Supported Internships
To facilitate this initiative, NORDTECH is seeking member organizations who would like to host interns, supported with NORDTECH funding, during summer 2025. All intern stipends are covered by the program and Griffiss Institute will provide logistical support, including application matching between host companies, as well as onboarding. Member entity hosts are thus able to focus on providing mentorship and meaningful project work. Learn more about the program and how your organization can get involved below.

Student Internship Opportunities
In addition, NORDTECH welcomes undergraduate and graduate students studying STEM disciplines who are interested in gaining hands-on expertise in semiconductors and microelectronics careers to apply to our Summer Internship Program. See more information below.
