Leverage NORDTECH's Distributed Microelectronics Infrastructure
Be part of the future.
The Northeast Regional Defense Technology Hub (NORDTECH) is a coalition of public and private sector experts across New York State and part of the U.S. Microelectronics Commons program. NORDTECH serves as the front door to the Northeast’s distributed semiconductor ecosystem, connecting researchers to world-class microelectronics infrastructure. From NY Creates’ 300mm-focused Albany NanoTech Complex to IBM’s 200mm Microelectronics Research Laboratory (MRL), coupled with a network of early-stage cleanrooms, NORDTECH enables facility access for researchers, all hubs, and defense partners from around the nation to leverage these advanced prototyping capabilities.
NORDTECH’s five founding members who compose the leadership team / governance committee of the hub include:
NORDTECH’s board is advised by diverse members of planned participants in NORDTECH’s response to the U.S. Department of War’s call for a Microelectronics Commons Hub, including small and medium semiconductor manufacturing companies, community colleges and universities, and major corporations who are service providers and leaders in semiconductor device design, fabrication, and production.
